Getting Started

Is SteadyOne really free?

Yes. Goals (up to 5), daily wellbeing check-ins, goal check-ins, private journal, and 30-day history are all free — forever. You only need to upgrade if you want unlimited goals, full history, or AI coaching credits.

Do I need to create an account?

No. SteadyOne works immediately as a guest — no sign-in required. If you sign in with Google, your data syncs across devices and your purchases are protected. You can sign in at any time from Settings.

How do I set up my first goal?

On your first launch, SteadyOne asks you to set your first goal. You can also add goals any time by tapping the tune icon (⚙) in the goal check-in section of the Today screen. Give your goal a clear title — something like "Build a consistent fitness habit" or "Write every day" — and it will appear in your daily evening check-in.

Goals & Check-ins

What is the goal alignment score?

Your alignment score is the percentage of active goals you worked on in a given day. If you have 4 goals and worked on 3, your score is 75%. It's not about perfection — it's about direction. The 30-day chart on the Insights screen shows whether you're trending up or down over time.

Can I archive a goal instead of deleting it?

Yes. Tap the edit icon on any goal and choose Archive. Archived goals no longer appear in your daily check-in and don't count toward your alignment score — but all associated history is preserved. You can reactivate an archived goal any time.

Why can I only have 5 active goals on the free plan?

Research consistently shows that trying to focus on more than 5 goals at once leads to progress on none. The 5-goal limit on the free plan is intentional — it encourages prioritisation. Upgrade to Plus or Pro to remove the limit if you need more.

AI Coaching & Credits

How does the AI Daily Review work?

When you tap Generate Review, SteadyOne sends your day's performance data — goal alignment, habits, training, and nutrition from across the Steady Ecosystem — to a secure AI coaching function. It returns a 3–4 paragraph coaching response in seconds. Your wellbeing data (sleep, mood, energy, stress) and journal are never included. The review costs 2 credits.

What are AI credits and how do I get them?

Credits are used for AI features: 2 credits per Daily Review, 1 credit per Weekly Briefing. Pro subscribers receive 30 credits per month automatically. Free and Plus users can buy booster packs: 3 credits for $0.39 or 5 credits for $0.59. Credits never expire. Monthly Pro credits reset at the start of each calendar month.

Is my sleep, mood, and journal data sent to AI?

No — never. Your wellbeing data (sleep hours, sleep quality, morning mood, energy, stress) and your journal entries are explicitly excluded from every AI call. This is enforced in the code, not just in policy. The only data sent to AI is goal alignment and performance data from the Steady Ecosystem apps.

Purchases & Billing

How do I restore a purchase on a new device?

Sign in with the same Google account you used when you purchased, then go to Settings → Restore Purchases. Your plan (Plus or Pro) will be restored automatically. If you experience any issues, contact us at the email below.

How do I cancel my Pro subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Google Play. To cancel: open the Google Play Store → tap your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → SteadyOne Pro → Cancel. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by Google Play. For requests within 48 hours of purchase, you can request a refund directly in the Play Store. For older purchases, contact us at [email protected] and we'll do our best to help.

Account & Data

How do I delete my account and all my data?

Go to Settings → Delete Account. You will be asked to re-authenticate with Google, then confirm deletion. All your Firestore data (goals, check-ins, wellbeing, journal) will be permanently deleted. This action cannot be undone.

Where is my data stored?

Data is stored locally on your device (ObjectBox) and synced to Firebase Firestore when you sign in with Google. All data is encrypted in transit. We do not sell your data to any third party. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
